Kruno Jošt

ist einer der Gründer der Organisation "UKE" in Krizevci (Kultur und Bildung in der Stadt), das seinen Fokus auf Neue Medienkultur, internationale Zusammenarbeit und Austausch in Free Open Culture legt. Er ist einer der Organisatoren des Projekts "Urban Interventions '03" und der Experimental Electronic Interventions '04, '05 und '06, MMKamp '06 und '07 (Multimedia Camp). Im Rahmen des GentleJunk Collective arbeitet er mit experimentellen und improvisierten Klängen und Visualisationen (VJing), Pirate FM Radio, städtischen Interventionen, Social Hacking, De-constructing, Synchronicity Research, Détournement Technik und Culture Jamming. 2006 wirkte er mit an den "Impromondays", improvisierte offene Musiksession im Club "Silence Reservoir" in Zagreb. Als einer der Gründer und Herausgeber des Magazins '04 - Megazine for Reality Hacking" und einer der Initianten des Internet Radio Netzwerks "Free Radio: Stanica MIR" (FRSM), ist er seit 2003 aktiv in den unabhängigen Medien. Zurzeit stellt Kruno Forschungen an in Free Open Culture in Brasilien, um einen dauerhaften Austausch zwischen Kroatien und Brasilien aufzubauen. (www.uke.hr/brazil)

Digitaloranica

Die Präsentation zeigt die Verknüpfung der folgenden Projekte auf EEll, MMKamp, FTR, Imromondays, GentleJunkNetLabel, FRSM und eines der Ergebnisse, die Cellular Automata Music "Digitalorganica". Kruno Jost gibt einen kurzen Überblick über die Festivals, Events und Verbänden von Künstlern, Hackern, Aktivisten etc. Ivan Nikoli-Lesh beschreibt die "Cellular Automata" mit anschliessender Vorführung.

Twibright optar: Optar steht für OPTical ARchiver. Es ist ein Codec, der Daten in codierter Weise auf Papier ausdruckt, bis zu 200 KB auf eine A4 Seite. Um die codierten Daten lesbar zu machen, kann der Ausdruck in das Decodierprogramm eingescannt werden. Die vorherige Benützung des Error Correction Code (FEC) garantiert eine hohe Zuverlässigkeit.

VGA Lampe

An eine einfache digitale Schaltung, welche ein zulässiges VGA Signal herstellt, können R, G und B Komponenten angeschlossen werden. Dadurch wird es möglich, einen CRT Monitor in eine Lampe umzuwandeln, bei der die Farbe des Lichts beliebig gewählt werden kann. Benützbar z.B. als Schlafzimmerlampe. werden.

In 2006. he collaborates at 'Impromondays', an improvised open music sessions at 'Silence Reservoir' club in Zagreb. As one of the founders and editors of magazine '04 - Megazine for Reality Hacking' , and one of the founders of Internet radio network ‘Free Radio: Stanica MIR’ (FRSM) he is active in independent media since 2003.

twibright optar: Optar stands for OPTical ARchiver. It's a codec for encoding data on paper. Optar fits 200kB on an A4 page, then you print it with a laser printer. If you want to read the recording, scan it with a scanner and feed into the decoder program. A practical level of reliability is ensured using forward error correction code (FEC). Automated processing of page batches facilitates storage of files larger than 200kB.

VGA lamp (kulhavy/ senguen)

A simple digital circuit that creates a valid VGA signal where the R, G, and
B components can be adjusted. This allows to use an old CRT monitor as a coloured
lamp where an arbitrary color can be set. Can be used for example for bedroom
lighting.
