CREAZIUN

CREAZIUN, Romansh for “creation”, enters its second edition in 2026. Jürg Frey, Jacques Demierre, Lucas Niggli and Asia Ahmetjanova develop new works in dialogue with the SLIDE Ensemble, exploring the space between composition, co-creation and improvisation. Initiated and artistically directed by Diego Kohn, the project asks how composers and performers can jointly develop musical forms, materials and processes.

SLIDE Ensemble

In this edition, the SLIDE Ensemble is a quintet working at the intersection of contemporary music, free improvisation and experimental practice: Gemma Galeano and Ferran Gorrea (saxophones), Frantz Loriot (viola), Diego Kohn (viola/violin & electronics) and Lukas Mantel (drums).
